Dusk. Cold, and dank. Blazing, but vague. The setting sun still shed a blistering light on the land; slowly creating cover for the creatures of the night. Houses in the east were buffeted by forceful winds that left no mercy for the day to come. Shadows began to cover the land, creating a stabbing fear for those safe in their homes. A forest stood tall, and proud on the west side of the land. It was fertile, but very dark. Not many people had the courage to step one inch onto that land. That was where the rebels slept. In the north there was a large lake, opening up to a wide expanse of pure, deep blue water.
